Terms and Conditions of Service
Thank you for abiding by the following TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Appointments are expected to be kept and owners/handlers punctual. Since our horse clients prefer not to wear watches, responsibility for punctuality falls to the owner/handler. Everyone's time is important and if an appointment is canceled late or rescheduled at the last minute, it can throw a wrench into our schedule and worse, our ability to serve our other clients.
2. Appointments may be canceled up to four hours before scheduled appointment time without a late fee. Any appointment canceled less than 4 hours from the appointed time will be billed a late cancellation fee.
3. Owners or handlers are expected to have the client horse secured and ready for shoeing at the appointed time. Muddy feet, caked-on or fresh manure must be washed-off by the owner/handler prior to any farrier service being provided.
4. Owners/handlers are expected to provide a well-lighted, level, dry or under-roof working area with ventilation and electricity available. A nearby fresh water source is also required.
5. The owner/handler must stay with the client horse at all times while farrier services are being provided. If your mare has a foal, please arrange for the foal to be close to mother so everyone stays calm while we work.
6. Since safety is key, no person other than the owner/handler is allowed within 100 feet of the client horse while farrier services are being performed.
7. PAYMENT IS DUE WHEN SERVICES ARE RENDERED. We do not provide any type of credit or pay-later arrangement. You will be told before the service what the cost will be, so just as we are prepared to provide professional farrier service for your horse, we ask that you be prepared to pay in full for services provided when provided.
8. Payment types accepted: Cash or bank check. No personal checks or credit cards are accepted. Business checks may be accepted with pre-approval from Sugarfoot Farriers, L.L.C.
9. All Sugarfoot customers are requested to abide by these terms and conditions and ask questions prior to any farrier services being provided.
10. Terms and Conditions of service are subject to change at the discretion of Sugarfoot Farriers, L.L.C.
